Evaluation and treatment for high-conflict between co-parents and within families of divorce. 

COURT & CUSTODY EVALUATION

I utilize a post-doctoral clinical and forensic skill set to help co-parents, children and families embroiled in the post-divorce and high-conflict custody process via a thorough and focused evaluation process and the delivery of a uniquely tailored court report and treatment plan.

My comprehensive training and professional experience is specific to such special issues as alienation, reunification, co-parent litigiousness, child refusal (of school and/or parenting plan agreements), and risk factors underlying parental abuse and mistreatment, domestic violence, and psychological instability (e.g. substance abuse).

Court & Custody Services

I provide evaluation and treatment services for the full spectrum of high conflict and court involved problems, including (but not limited to):

• "Full" or "Standard" Custody (Category E) Evaluations
• Brief Focused Evaluations or BFA's (e.g. Parenting Plan Modification)
• Parenting Capacity and Bonding Evaluations
• Adoption Capacity and Guardianship Evaluations
• Risk Assessments for Specialty Mental Health Issues (e.g. Substance Abuse, Addictions) 
• Consultation to Attorneys (e.g. managing highly difficult clients)
• Reunification Therapy
• Parent Coordination & Mediation (for any/all non-financial custody matters)

Training Qualifications

Doctoral and Post-Doctoral training in Clinical & Forensic Psychology, includes didactics, supervision, consultation, research, and casework related to:

• The Divorce Custody Process
• The Practice of Mediation & Parent Coordination
• Child Maltreatment and Juvenile Justice
• Domestic Abuse or Inter-partner Violence
• Parental Mistreatment & Associated Forms of Mental Illness
• Matters of Alienation and Reunification

I have conducted over 7,000 hours of court-ordered evaluations and custody-related psychotherapy treatment cases throughout seven-plus years of active and licensed practice (including MA state eligibility in mediation and parent coordination services).​
